About Us / Enviornmental Care |
Transmetal Limited, is accredited with ISO 14001:2004 certification , as a part of care for Environment. We strive for continual improvement in our environmental management system and to minimize the creation of wastes and pollution and have been determined to implement and operate the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System to further enhance environmental performance.
We endeavour to
• Reduce, reuse and recycle wastes and eliminate wasteful activities in our manufacturing operations and packaging.
• Improve the efficiency of energy usage.
• A large expanse of a green belt in factory premises , growing trees and collaborations with budding artisans working on synthesis of artefacts contribute to this endeavour.
Effluent Management
A state of the art Effluent Treatment plant, and capabilities for control and check of gas emissions are the key features. Membership of India’s first privately managed Effluent channel project for carriage and disposal of treated Liquid Effluents into the deep sea. For treated solid removals, we have been a Member of Integrated common hazardous waste management facility .
